ABOUT THE THERAPIST

Anne Jameson

Post Graduate Dip. Clinical Neuromuscular Therapy (CNMT) (NZ), Post Graduate Cert. CNMT (NZ), Dip Aromatherapy (NZ), Dip. Reflexology (NZ), Cert. Sports Massage (NZ), Cert Spa Therapy (London), Cert. Treatment Massage (NZ), Cert Dry Needling (Australia).

Anne has trained in the health Industry for 25 years. The first few years was as a personal trainer in Wellington, NZ. In the year 2000 Anne moved back to Nelson to train as an Aromatherapist gaining her Aromatherapy Dip in 2002 and Reflexology Dip 2004. From there she travelled to London where she did intensive spa therapy training before working on the cruise ships. Anne returned to Nelson to work as a massage therapist and personal trainer, eventually focusing solely on her passion for massage.

Continuously up-skilling in order to be at the forefront of problem solving and muscular treatments, she gaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Neuromuscular Therapy – a more sophisticated therapy, delving into the structural/postural cause of pain, this is an advance level of remedial massage. Then Dry needling, and joint mobilisation techniques.

Anne has a great love for the understanding of the human body, enjoying training with weights and was a former competitor in body building competition for 7 years. She has since retired from competing. She still is very active with Pilates, road cycling, weights.

In her time off she enjoys snorkelling, hiking, stand up paddleboarding and canoeing.

Anne moved from New Zealand to Perth to continue with her upskilling in education, doing dry needling and joint mobilisation techniques.
